Modera's proprietary license applies only to rights Gagan Gupta owns or controls. It does not replace or restrict the licenses of the components below. Retain the actual license and attribution files supplied with each installed dependency or downloaded model, including notices for their transitive components.

Public skill package

The ZIP contains the Modera instructions, Python integration and local wardrobe tools, tests, public clothing vocabulary, connection configuration and legal documents. It does not bundle the Python interpreter, third-party library distributions, model checkpoints or the server outfit engine. Clothing labels, category IDs and ordinary facts are not claimed as exclusive property. Some local wrappers implement publicly documented model input/output conventions; use of those conventions does not transfer ownership of upstream models or code.

Separately installed dependencies

• Python: PSF License Agreement and the licenses of included components. Source and notices: Python license.
• Pillow: MIT-CMU license; copyrights include Secret Labs AB, Fredrik Lundh and contributors, and Jeffrey “Alex” Clark and contributors. Source and notices: Pillow license.
• NumPy, optional for original-pixel tools and the full test suite: BSD 3-Clause license, NumPy Developers. Binary distributions may contain additional separately licensed libraries. Source and notices: NumPy license.
• ONNX Runtime, optional for SCHP parsing: MIT license, Microsoft Corporation. Source and notices: ONNX Runtime license and the installed distribution's third-party notices.
• SAM 2 and its checkpoints, optional: Apache License 2.0, Meta Platforms, Inc. and affiliates. Source and notices: SAM 2 license. Preserve upstream notices and the licenses of its separately installed dependencies, including PyTorch, when used. Modera does not bundle SAM 2 code or weights.
• Self-Correction Human Parsing (SCHP), optional: the upstream project uses the MIT license. Source and notices: SCHP license. The separately downloaded ONNX export is published by pirocheto; its model card identifies an MIT license. See the pinned model card. Preserve that model card and source attribution. A publisher's license label is not a warranty that every training-data or upstream right has been cleared.

Services and additional distributions

Muse, its native image-editing service and linked photo services are separate services governed by their providers' terms. No ownership of those services or affiliation with their providers is claimed here. Using Modera does not grant permission to access someone else's photos.

The API's separately deployed runtime dependencies, including Swift, Node.js, Firebase Admin and Zod, are not distributed inside the skill ZIP. Their own licenses continue to apply. Before redistributing any additional third-party code, library, asset or model, review that exact distribution and include all required license texts and notices. This inventory is not a substitute for those licenses.
