Modera connection terms

These terms are between you and Gagan Gupta, an individual operating Modera in New York, USA. Legal and licensing contact: support@modera.fyi.

1. Connection setup

Muse handles the user's permission to establish the Modera connection. Modera then returns directly to Muse; there is no separate Modera acceptance page, agreement checkbox or second Connect button.

Establishing a connection, downloading a skill, visiting a website, updating, renewing a token or making an API call is not recorded by Modera as express acceptance of these terms or the proprietary license. These documents remain available for reference. Previously recorded agreements are not changed by this connection-flow update.

2. Connection and permitted use

The connection authorizes your Muse installation to request Modera outfit recommendations for your own wardrobe use. Keep your installation credentials within Muse's protected credential system. Do not share credentials, sell access, bypass enrollment or usage limits, or use another person's authorization. A connection does not transfer ownership of Modera's Materials or disclose its private outfit engine.

You agree to the use restrictions in the incorporated license, including its restrictions on unauthorized redistribution, resale, rebranding and incorporation of protected Materials into other products. The license's third-party exceptions, statutory exceptions and reservation of your own rights also apply here. These terms do not prohibit lawful independent development or truthful references to Modera.

Access remains subject to the published availability and usage limits. Gagan Gupta may suspend or revoke access for material violations of these terms or security abuse, subject to mandatory legal protections. Disconnecting or revoking a connection does not grant a new enrollment place. These terms do not change the technical lifetime of any existing credential or require routine re-enrollment.

3. Your data and the agreement record

Modera processes the selected clothing metadata supplied for an outfit request without retaining the wardrobe payload or recommendation. Photos, cutouts, the wardrobe and saved outfits remain with Muse; these terms do not transfer ownership of your data. Muse and other connected services operate under their own applicable terms.

New connections do not create a Modera terms-acceptance record. Operational authorization records still contain installation and client identifiers, credential hashes and relevant timestamps needed to manage access. Existing historical acceptance records remain separate from wardrobe data; removing the acceptance page does not change those records. Contact support@modera.fyi about access or deletion requests.

4. Changes and existing permissions

This version describes connection setup without a separate Modera acceptance screen. Versioned documents remain available at their published URLs. Later terms are not recorded as accepted through connection setup, continued use, automatic skill updates or credential renewal. Earlier permissions and accrued rights are not retroactively rewritten. A skill update must preserve your existing wardrobe and connection.

5. Law and remedies

New York law governs these terms to the extent that choice is enforceable, without overriding applicable federal intellectual-property law or mandatory consumer protections. Neither these terms nor the license guarantees an enforcement outcome, creates automatic fines, or removes rights that applicable law makes non-waivable. Gagan Gupta may seek remedies available under applicable law for infringement or material breach. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or severed only as permitted by law, leaving the remaining provisions effective where lawful.
